IQPC’s international conference Wastewater Infrastructure, 26th-28th March 2012 in Berlin

Berlin, 21/02/2012 – The growth of our society depends on reliable infrastructure systems. Many governments around the world are now faced with the challenge to either replace old pipelines or to continue maintaining them. Another goal is the improvement of service. Find out at IQPC’s international conference Wastewater Infrastructure, 26th-28th March 2012 in Berlin, how municipalities, engineers and contractors deal with the constant pressure to maintain aging sewage systems or construct new wastewater systems.

Many pipeline systems worldwide face problems such as leakage or reducing emissions from sewer overflows. Wastewater infrastructure projects in urban settings pose special challenges, concerning for example the environment, costs, and public communication.

The conference features highlight case studies from from all over the world: Great Britain (London Thames Tideway Scheme), United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi Mega Project), Turkey (Istanbul), Germany (Berlin), Denmark (Helsinge) and the United States (Philadelphia).
Internationally renowned experts present the following topics:

•Reducing risk through successful sewer asset management
•Private and Public Partnerships (PPP): How can they help?
•Challenges of urban wastewater infrastructure projects
•The next generation of wastewater infrastructure, using for example trenchless technology
•Challenges of reducing emissions from sewer overflows

Grasp the opportunity to discuss your points of interests in our interactive workshops on Wednesday, 28th March 2012:
