Next Generation Off Highway Engines

Von IQPC GmbH

IQPC’s 2nd International Conference Next Generation Off-Highway Engines, 27 – 29 June 2012 in Wiesbaden

Understanding and controlling the combustion process is the first step in reducing engine-out emissions and reducing the burden on the emission control after treatment systems. Learn from leading industry experts presenting at IQPC’s 2nd International Conference Next Generation Off-Highway Engines, 27 – 29 June 2012 in Wiesbaden how to implement the most recent regulations with sophisticated technical approaches
Thumb By 2016, NOx-emissions must be reduced by about 80%. Consequently, more stringent emission limits for large engines are dominating research and development activities of engine and component manufacturers within the off highway industry. Presentations will center around following topics: • Off-highway emission legislation • New off-road engine developments: fulfilling future emission limits • Off-highway engines under extremes conditions • Thermal management of off-highway engines • Exhaust aftertreatment technology Besides many networking opportunities, conference participants can also engage in interactive discussions during our full-day workshops on Friday, 29 June. The workshops will deal with after treatment and emission control strategies as well as SCR-only for off-highway applications. Representatives from companies and institutions such as Daimler, HJS Emission Technology, MTU Friedrichshafen, Volvo Penta, Technical University Munich and many more will be onsite to discuss current challenges and solutions with conference participants.
