TXT e-solutions stärkt seine Aktivitäten im Rüstungs- und Verteidigungssektor

The recent global events have found TXT e-solutions well placed to face the new looming market scenarios. TXT e-solutions has long-lasting and well-established links with Agusta Westland, as well as with the Finmeccanica Group.
Thumb The latest orders received by TXT concern, in particular, product avionic software for the helicopters EH101 and production management software for several production plants. As reported in the press (Il Sole 24 ore, September 20 th 2001 “Agusta flies on the northern markets”), Agusta Westland has received new important orders for the helicopters EH101, which will bring about further extensions in the functions of their navigation software provided and maintained by TXT. TXT e-solutions’ Chairman, Mr. Alvise Braga Illa, points out: “TXT is well positioned to provide the European defence sector with the computer equipment necessary to integrate the Supply Chain”. TXT’s products allow speeding up supply delivery times as well as increasing production capacities, which is a source of competitive advantage in peacetime, and vital in wartime. TXT’s Supply Chain Software is already operating in several plants of the defence and aerospace sector in Italy. Mr. Braga Illa adds: “We see significant growth and profitability opportunities in the increasing integration of European defence and in the cooperative planning characterising TXT’s SC&CM products. At present, total outstanding orders for the supply of TXT’s software solutions and services in the defence and aerospace sector amount to about 2.5 million Euros. &&& TXT e-solutions, European leading company in B2B software for industrial, service and media enterprises, is developing internationally. TXT is specialised in modular and standard software for the Supply Chain and for the Customer Management (TXT SC&CM-Supply Chain&Customer Management) as well as of on-line content (TXT Polymedia) of its international customers. TXT, employing more than 350 professionals, has its headquarters in Milan as well as offices in Genoa, Turin, Bari, Cambridge (Mass.), Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Frankfurt and London. TXT closet the first semester 2001 with record revenues of 15 million Euros with a 78% year-to-year growth and positive EBITDA.
