Cardinal Resources Limited (ASX: CDV) (Cardinal oder das Unternehmen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOWLLySUM6c ) freut sich bekannt zu geben, dass das Phase-1-Rahmenbohrprogramm abgeschlossen ist und alle Untersuchungsergebnisse eingetroffen sind. Daher haben die Arbeiten an strukturellen und geologischen Modellierungen sowie an der Ressourcenschätzung nun begonnen, um eine erste Ressourcenschätzung für die Goldlagerstätte Namdini (Namdini) im Nordosten von Ghana zu erstellen.

- Der Großteil der oben aufgelisteten Bohrlöcher weist mehrere Abschnitte auf. Insgesamt wurden etwa 125 Abschnitte in 20 Bohrlöchern durchschnitten, wie in Tabelle 1 angegeben ist.
- Die Lagerstätte Namdini wurde mittels Bohrungen auf einer Streichlänge von 1.000 Metern durchschnitten, weist eine durchschnittliche Mächtigkeit von 200 bis 300 Metern auf, wurde beim Großteil ihrer Streichlänge bis in eine vertikale Tiefe von 350 Metern nachverfolgt und ist in der Tiefe sowie entlang des Streichens in Richtung Süden weiterhin offen.

Der Abschluss der ersten Phase des Rahmenbohrprogramms ergab Abschnitte mit einigen der höchsten Werte (Goldgehalt multipliziert mit der mineralisierten Länge), die bis dato bei Namdini durchschnitten wurden. Weitere hochgradige Abschnitte wurden in zahlreichen der herausragenden Bohrlöcher unseres Phase-1-Bohrprogramms durchschnitten.
Namdini wurde als bedeutsame neue Entdeckung bestätigt. Die Goldmineralisierung wurde auf einem Streichen von über einem Kilometer beschrieben, erstreckt sich über mehr als 350 Meter unterhalb der topografischen Oberfläche und weist einen mineralisierten Korridor auf, der konstant größer als 250 mal 300 Meter ist. Der Erzkörper ist in der Tiefe und in Richtung Süden weiterhin offen und wir sind angesichts des Explorationspotenzials in Richtung Norden äußerst zuversichtlich.
Wir freuen uns auf den Beginn der nächsten Entwicklungsphase von Namdini. Geologische und strukturelle Modellierungen und Ressourcenschätzungen haben bereits begonnen. Unser metallurgisches Testprogramm, das auf einem Kern von über 350 Kilogramm basiert, befindet sich bereits in fortgeschrittenem Stadium und wir freuen uns darauf, die Ergebnisse bekannt zu geben, sobald sie verfügbar sind.
In Abbildung 1 sind die abgeschlossenen Phase-1-Bohrungen sowie der Standort der in dieser ASX-Meldung angegebenen Bohrlöcher zu sehen.
Dr. Julian Barnes, Technical Manager von Cardinal für das Projekt Namdini, sagte:
Die Datenbank für das Phase-1-Rahmenbohrprogramm ist nun abgeschlossen und ermöglicht es uns, die Lagerstätte in 3-D zu bewerten. Die strukturellen und geologischen Modellierungen der Lagerstätte Namdini wurden vom Beratungsunternehmen Orefind durchgeführt - das geologische 3-D-Modell ist in den Abbildungen dieser ASX-Meldung zu sehen.
Die Ressourcenschätzung durch das geostatistische Beratungsunternehmen EGRM hat begonnen. Die Begutachtung des gesamten Projektes Namdini wurde vom unabhängigen Begutachtungsunternehmen Sahara Mining Services durchgeführt, wobei im gesamten Projektgebiet DGPS-Begutachtungsstellen errichtet und eine DGPS-Untersuchung der Bohrkragen durchgeführt wurden. Außerdem führte Sahara Mining Services auch eine detaillierte topografische und fotografische Unmanned Aerial Vehicle- (UAV oder Drohnen)-Untersuchung im Umfeld der Lagerstätte Namdini durch.
Die neue Begutachtung stellt die Grundlage für die lokale Begrenzung des Projektes Namdini dar. Schüttdichtenmessungen werden ebenfalls routinemäßig am gesamten Bohrkern durchgeführt - bislang wurden über 1.400 Schüttdichtenmessungen abgeschlossen.
Die zusätzlichen Bohrungen sowie die strukturelle und geologische Analyse haben bestätigt, dass Namdini in intensiv deformiertem, stark hydrothermal alteriertem Granit, vulkanoklastischem Gestein und Diorit enthalten ist. Typischerweise wurden im Großteil der bei der Lagerstätte Namdini gebohrten Bohrlöcher sowohl mächtige als auch mehrfache goldmineralisierte Abschnitte vorgefunden.
In Abbildung 2 ist ein Längsschnitt der bisherigen Bohrungen mit Blickrichtung Osten zu sehen, parallel zum durchschnittlichen Streichen der Lagerstätte Namdini. Der Schnitt zeigt die mineralisierten Abschnitte, die je nach durchschnittlichem Goldgehalt farblich gekennzeichnet sind, basierend auf der Meldebestimmung von mindestens drei Metern Tiefe, von drei Metern mit einem durchgängigen Mindestgehalt und einem unteren Cutoff-Gehalt von 0,5 Gramm pro Tonne, wobei die Bohrlöcher, die in dieser ASX-Meldung angegeben sind, mit Goldgehaltshistogrammen und Bohrlochnamen hervorgehoben werden. In Abbildung 3 ist ein Längsschnitt mit Blickrichtung Osten aller bisherigen Abschnitte zu sehen, die je nach Gehalt farblich gekennzeichnet sind. Dabei ist zu erkennen, dass die Lagerstätte Namdini sowohl in der Tiefe als auch in Richtung Süden weiterhin offen ist.

Das technische Personal von Cardinal wendet sowohl bei Diamant- als auch bei RC-Bohrungen eine Reihe von Standardverfahren an. Bei Diamantbohrungen (die mittels HQ-Kernentnahme durchgeführt werden) sind die wichtigsten Aspekte, dass die Bohrlöcher alle 30 Meter Tiefe elektronisch untersucht werden, dass alle Kerndurchgänge routinemäßig mithilfe eines digitalen Reflexausrichtungsinstrumentes ausgerichtet werden, dass die Kerngewinnung gemessen wird und dass geotechnische Aufzeichnungen durchgeführt werden, wenn der Kern beim Gerät gewonnen wird.
Im Bürogebäude in Bolgatanga wird der Kern nass und trocken fotografiert und nach der Aufzeichnung mithilfe digitaler Datenaufzeichnungsgeräte geschnitten, wobei ein Viertel der HQ-Kernprobe auf einem Probenabschnitt von einem Meter an das Labor gesendet, ein weiteres Viertel für metallurgische Probennahmen einbehalten und der restliche halbe HQ-Kern als Referenz aufbewahrt wird. Derselbe Bereich des viertel Kerns in Zusammenhang mit der Kernausrichtungsmarkierung wird routinemäßig für die Analyse erprobt.
Bei RC-Bohrungen werden die Proben mithilfe eines Mehrfach-Riffelungssplitters in Intervallen von einem Meter entnommen. Es werden routinemäßig Doppelfeldproben entnommen (alle 20 Proben) und der Fliehkraftabscheider wird bei jedem Gerätewechsel gründlich gereinigt, während der Splitter nach jedem Meter Probennahme gereinigt wird. Die Probenbeutel werden nach jedem Abschnitt von einem Meter ebenso gewogen wie die gesplitteten Proben und die etwa 2,5- bis Drei-Kilogramm-Splitterproben, die an das Analyselabor gesendet werden. Zum Probensatz wurden eine Reihe von international akkreditiertem und zertifiziertem Referenzmaterial sowie Leerproben hinzugefügt. Die Standards umfassen den Goldgehaltbereich, der bei Namdini erwartet wird.
Die einzelnen Probenbeutel für Kern- und Bohrsplitter werden in der Niederlassung in Bolgatanga versiegelt und zur Aufbewahrung in Zehnergruppen in einem großen Kunststoffbeutel erneut versiegelt. Das Analyselabor kümmert sich um den Transport der Proben von Bolgatanga, sodass die Produktkette bei der Probenaufzeichnungseinrichtung in Bolgatanga von Cardinal auf das Analyselabor übergeht.
Sobald Probenbeutel und Trüben vom Analyselabor zur Einrichtung von Cardinal in Bolgatanga zurückgebracht werden, wird eine repräsentative Reihe von Trüben, die den gesamten Bereich von Probensätzen und Goldgehalten umfasst, zur Begutachtungsanalyse in einem akkreditierten unabhängigen Labor ausgewählt. Ebenso wie bei der routinemäßigen Probeneinreichung wird auch zum Trübensatz der Begutachtungsanalyse eine Reihe international zertifizierter Standard- und Leerproben hinzugefügt.
Das technische Personal von Cardinal führt nach dem Erhalt der Untersuchungsergebnisse vom Labor routinemäßige Analysen der Qualitätskontrolldaten durch, um zu ermitteln, ob der Probensatz den Branchenstandards für Kontrollproben entspricht. Wenn der Satz durchfällt, wird der Probensatz abgelehnt und vom Labor eine Neuuntersuchung angefordert.
