Los Angeles, CA. (March 13, 2002) Adexa, Inc. a leading provider of collaborative supply chain planning solutions, today announced it has signed an agreement with Hewlett-Packard Company to optimize the Adexa iCollaboration solution for the latest versions of HPs HP-UX, Windows and Linux-based platforms. The relationship helps assure customers the highest standards for scalability, compatibility, reliability and performance.
Adexa will market its iCollaboration solution with HPs hardware and middleware to target global enterprises in high-tech, semiconductor, automotive, aerospace and defense and consumer products industries. Certification on HP-UX 11i has just been completed and benchmarks and performance testing are in process. Adexa believes the solution will remove barriers normally associated with integrating the enterprise to its extended supply chain, such as long implementation timelines.
Collaboration between HP and Adexa has already proven successful for both our organizations and has yielded joint customer wins, said John Sibley, vice president of channels and alliances for Adexa. This agreement offers customers dramatic efficiency and cost improvements at a substantially lower cost of ownership.
Together, Adexa and HP intend to offer customers complete, flexible solutions for optimizing and integrating key business processes within and across multiple networked enterprises, said Nigel Ball, vice president and general manager of HPs e-Services Partner Division.
Headquartered in Los Angeles, Adexa blends powerful supply chain optimization, collaboration and business process automation capabilities within a single solution, iCollaboration, to help companies design, source, make and deliver products faster and more profitably.
