CxO Dialogue in Frankfurt: Leading banks discuss risk, market and IT strategies

The international executive network econique organises the European CxO Dialogue Banking Strategy in Frankfurt on the 28th / 29th October 2009. This executive summit brings together management players as well as solution providers to share their views and analyse current issues on risk management, compliance, IT and CRM. The CxO Dialogue provides an opportunity to network with executives of leading banks from all around Europe. Speakers from the European Central Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, UBS, BBVA, Deutsche Bank, the European Commission, Nykredit, Banco Best, K&H Bank and others give an insight how leading financial institutions deal with the outcomes of the financial crisis and how they are turning these outcomes into chances and potentials for their future business.

Event attendance is free of charge exclusively for leading bank executives and through invitation only. High-level executives responsible for the main challenges in the post-crisis era are being invited and as such econique creates an international network of C-level banking peers that allows open discussion and inspiration. The strictly non-public Dialogue enables executives to present and discuss strategies, concepts and background information in a confidential and exclusive forum.

The future shows that there will be some fundamental re-regulation of the industry. Now banks must develop strategies to adapt compliance and risk management to the new and yet not fixed conditions. This new regulatory framework will also have an effect on IT and organisation. IT has to be restructured to align with the future requirements. Even before the crisis banks have been re-organising their processes and outdated systems due to cost pressures and partly non-efficient structures. Now the pressure to modernise is even bigger.

Another great challenge with impact on IT systems is to rebuild customer confidence. Since a lot of trust has been destroyed CRM strategies are now more important than ever. Customer loyalty is declining. At the same time retail, business and corporate banking is becoming more important again. Especially these segments require better CRM strategies than the ones most banks have today.
