Thumb Latest statistics prove that high bandwidth broadband access has progressed beyond the realm of the "scientific experiment" and with the advent of next generation services is now becoming a necessity to offer more services. For the 4th time already IQPC again gathers experts from the industry at its annual Network Forum on FTTx, which takes place from 7th – 9th December in Berlin this year. The first day is an interactive workshopday and offers a great possibility for networking and to take a closer look at special topics as IPTV services, GPON development, NGA regulation and more. Experts from 20 companies and institutions will discuss the latest developments and give insights on their latest experiences in presentations, case studies and round table discussions. Following topics will be discussed at this year’s FTTx conference : * Find out which strategy of investment is the most promising for integrating the FTTx to save cost and time * Learn from best practice FTTH business models behind rolling out to be competitive and to be prepared for FTTH * Gain new customers, expand network capacity and improve network OPEX by deploying FTTH in high-profit regions * Understand which technology is best suited to migrate to a deep fiber infrastructure without cannibalising the existing infrastructure Powerful technologies such as HSDPA, WiMAX, VDSL and Fiber are competing for a share of the market. Fiber is the most promising one in terms of future proof high bandwidth availability. It is now time to evaluate the fiber business case! It is now time for the operators to find out to what extent they want to include fiber access into their access portfolio.
