ThinPrint .print Engine 8.0 Compatible With SEH Print Servers, ISD Print Appliances, and TPG ThinPrint Gateways

Bielefeld, Germany (February 16, 2010). – SEH, a leading network solution vendor, announces the support of the latest version of the ThinPrint .print Engine 8.0 in their complete line of network printing solutions. These include all SEH print servers, ISD Intelligent Spooling Devices for efficient print spooling, and the TPG ThinPrint Gateways. ThinPrint, the leading vendor of print management solutions for wide area networks based on Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop, Microsoft Remote Desktop, and VMWare View, released the new version 8.0 of the ThinPrint .print Engine this month.
Thumb Due to the long-standing partnership and close cooperation with ThinPrint, SEH is the first vendor with a complete network printing solution portfolio supporting ThinPrint .print technology for bandwidth optimization and print job compression, including the new version 8.0. SEH has extensively and successfully tested the ThinPrint .print Engine 8.0, which is now equipped with a new user interface offering an improved and fast survey of the whole printing infrastructure. All relevant SEH products for typical ThinPrint application scenarios proved their seamless compatibility with all relevant ThinPrint applications, especially ThinPrint SSL encryption, ThinPrint .print Autoconnect, and Connection Service. Savings Potential with SEH Hardware The ThinPrint .print Client solution in SEH network printing solutions allows users to connect up to 150 output devices. Depending on the model, SEH print servers attach up to five printers to the network. The TPG60 connects up to six printers to the network, the sister model TPG120 up to twelve printers. On top of their core function as print spoolers, the two ISD print appliance families operate as ThinPrint Gateways. ISD300 models attach up to 50 printers to the network, the larger ISD400 and ISD410 are able to provide connectivity for up to 150 printers. Users realize cost savings as outlets and branch offices do not require a local print server or PC functioning as ThinPrint .print Client. Utilizing TPGs and ISD Intelligent Spooling Devices, the printers attached via these devices do not require a ThinPrint .print Client. Interested parties may order test samples directly from SEH.
