AkzoNobel’s Salt Specialties business is Europe’s major supplier of vacuum salt. We are looking for you as a Your Responsibilities: Build and manage long-term customer relationships for Salt Specialties Interact with different functions and stakeholders across our matrix organization (Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Services etc.) in order to meet the needs of our customers in Germany Observe and report market conditions, competitive activities and product demand Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for your portfolio Generate commercial recommendations to support our Marketing and Sales strategy Prepare and evaluate customer meetings as you demonstrate a good understanding of customer related sales, net revenue and contribution margins Focus on delivering the highest levels of customer service so that we establish solid and long-term relationships with our customers Your Profile: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree Strong motivation and outstanding customer focus 2-3 years of Sales experience, preferably in commodities Ability to work with MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power-Point), MS Dynamics and SAP-BW Willing and able to travel for about 50% Excellent communication skills including fluent written and spoken German, English and, ideally, Dutch You will operate in a geographical region bounded roughly by Cologne to the south and Hamburg to the north, with further activities in the Netherlands. You work from home in Germany or the Netherlands, with a formal office base in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
