Magic word “Small Modular Reactor”

Von Swiss Resource Capital AG

Small modular reactors could be produced by Western manufacturers.

Thumb

There would be no dependence on China or Russia, an advantage. There are several SMR development projects, including one from France. The Czech Republic also wants to rely on mini-nuclear power plants. This was confirmed by the South Bohemian Nuclear Pact, which is supposed to stand for the start of the project. Some Bavarians do not like the fact that the Czech Republic wants to expand nuclear power plants in southern Bohemia and also wants to establish a construction and research site near the eastern Bavarian border. At the same time, there will not be a sufficient volume of electricity for a long time without nuclear energy. Perhaps Bavaria should secure a portion of the electricity for its population at a low price to counter the prophets of doom. The principle of operation of the small nuclear power plants is similar to that of the large nuclear reactors, only the output is lower, and the costs are also lower.

Due to Russia's brutal war against Ukraine, more and more countries are striving for independence. Fossil fuels are to give way to cleaner energy. Nuclear power plants are also being put back into operation in Japan. At the moment, only a small part of almost 50 reactor units is operating. Japan is considering extending the operating lives of its plants. In the USA, too, investments in nuclear power are being promoted by the government, as uranium reserves are to be increased. Worldwide, per capita energy demand increased by ten percent, while the world population grew by 27 percent during this period. Global energy demand went up by 39 percent. Around eight billion people live on earth and growth is still forecast for the coming years. By 2050, it is estimated that around 9.71 billion people will inhabit the earth, and by 2100, around 10.35 billion. They will all need energy. With the renaissance forecast for nuclear energy, uranium companies should also have good prospects for the future.

Labrador Uranium - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suIB4YhMF9A - has prospective uranium projects covering just over 150,000 hectares in central and northern Labrador.

Consolidated Uranium - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbEklwODa9o - is also making good progress. Uranium projects in Australia, Canada, Argentina and the USA are in the company's portfolio, as are formerly producing uranium and vanadium mines in Colorado and Utah.
