Beschreibung

Location: Rhine Ordnance Barracks Medical Center (ROBMC) PM Support, Defense Health Facility Project Management Office, and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) in the Kaiserslautern Military Community, in Kaiserslautern Germany.

The Project Manager responsible for all oversight related to the design and build and maintenance of military medical facilities in and around Kaiserslautern Military Community.

The Project Manager shall include, but are not limited to:

  • Project Management
  • Planning, Concept and Design Review and Coordination
  • Scope Development
  • Total Building Commissioning Program Development and Management
  • Facility Management Liaison; Interior Design Analysis; Construction Project Office Management Development; Submittal Review; Change Proposal Coordination and Preparation; Transition Planning and Execution; Contractor Request For Information (RFI) Coordination; Maintenance and Sustainment Planning and Development.

In the execution of identified duties, the Contractor may be required to travel from their primary place of duty in order to conduct required services at the following locations & duration during the base year of the contract. All travel costs are covered.

Candidate should have a minimum of five years experience in planning, design, and construction of large U.S. hospital projects. Experience with U.S. military treatment facilities (MTFs) and standards, to include UFC 4-510-01, is highly desirable.

Requires technical knowledge and applicability of laws, regulations, policies, methods and procedures affecting DoD health facility and medical warehouse construction.

Position requires knowledge of general principles of architecture, engineering, design, construction, and project management; medical functional and medical building system components and their interrelationships; interior design and way finding standards.
