Fanless Mini-PC with 1.65 GHz Dual Core Processor and ATI HD-Graphics - ideal for Digital Signage and 3D

Munich, 19.10.2011 - Starting immediately, the Munich-based distributor CONCEPT International GmbH, a specialist in mobile and fanless IT solutions is expanding its portfolio with another high-performance signage PC model. Equipped with AMD's new Fusion processor, which combines the CPU and GPU, multiple high-definition videos can be played simultaneously and without interruption. This modern platform with a 1.65 GHz dual core processor and ATI HD6310 high-performance graphic card does not require a fan and is thus maintenance-free and quiet. The one-liter volume housing is also very compact.

In addition to pure hardware, the signage 316f PC comes with free PC management software. The Device Manager enables on/off times, BIOS updates, new operating systems and much more which allows simple remote control and play using the Internet or LAN.

The heart of the signage 316f PC is the AMD's new fusion processor which combines the main and graphics processor together. Thus the AMD's fast 1,65 GHz double core processor (T56N) and ATI's high performance HD6310 graphic components work much more efficiently together with DirectX 11 support. In addition to the smooth, simultaneous playing of multiple full HD movies and 3D graphics, there is a great emphasis on high energy efficiency. Thus, the signage 316f PC requires a maximum of 20 watts and cools passively without a fan. The fanless design and the use of SSDs as a storage medium mean that there are no moving parts in the PC 316f signage, thereby ensuring long-lasting and maintenance-free 24-hour per day operation.

The minimal housing volume of only 1 liter, about the size of three DVD cases lying one on top of the other (14.8 x 16.5 x 5.5 cm), makes it ideal for installation in racks, cabinets, pillars, screens and more. Furthermore, it can be operated via a securely screw-fastened VGA (analog) and DVI-I (digital) monitor connection a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels each on two

HD displays simultaneously.

In addition to four USB 2.0's, there are also are two serial ports which, for example, enable public display management. A GB-LAN and 802.11a/b/g WLAN module are provided to allow network communication. A fast DDRII RAM memory with 4 GB is used for the memory. The proven Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Embedded and Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 embedded or Linux to choose from.
