Monheim am Rhein, 04.07.2014 - Thum + Mahr are proud to provide the technical backbone for the live reporting from Wimbleden 2014.

Engineering Manager BBC Radio Outside Broadcast, John Wilson, is live from Wimbledon commenting the use of a DHD 52 series routing system:

"BBC Radio 5Live is using the DHD 52/XR to route all audio sources from each court via MADI over Fibre to their control room at Wimbledon. All I/O routing through the 5Live and 5Live Sports Extra studios is via the DHD too.  Record feeds and feeds to workstations are switched using the DHD touchscreens."

BBC Outside Broadcast is looking forward to use the DHD kit for the next OB event, the live Broadcasting for the Commonwealth Games.
