Steinhausen/Zug, 25th September 2001 Orbit Basel, 25th - 28th September 2001 Halle 1.1, Stand E53 As a provider of comprehensive solutions in the field of information security, InfoGuard has entered into partnership with the Belgian technology company Keyware. This enables InfoGuard to integrate advanced biometric products, which are used for authentication, into information security projects.

With this future-oriented product range, which is marketed by InfoGuard in Switzerland, the customer requirements of companies and public authorities can be met even more effectively. Various biometric user verification methods or certificates can optionally be applied with the CAS (Centralized Authentication Server), a secure access solution. These methods can be applied to the entire authentication process: for building entry, network logon, e-commerce, smart card and telecommunications applications.

Keyware products, in particular the CAS, will be presented during Orbit, and Keyware technicians will be present on 25th and 26th September to answer detailed questions on practical applications.

Keyware, which is listed on the NASDAQ Europe, is among the leading companies for authentication solutions in the business sector. As a pioneer in the field of biometrics and person recognition (voice, face, fingerprint), since 1996, the Belgian company also has a subsidiary operating on the US market.

Another Orbit highlight is the chance to see a presentation at the InfoGuard stand on the topic of hacking, which will be held half-hourly. “Hacking made easy” shows how easy it is today to spy on other peoples e-mails, data or web sites.
