Steady growth: Scheer Group expands to Southeastern Europe

Saarbrücken, 01.06.2021 (PresseBox) - The Scheer Group has set itself ambitious growth targets. In the DACH region, however, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find suitably qualified new employees in sufficient numbers to meet the growing order situation. Scheer has therefore been looking for suitable new locations in Southeastern Europe for some time now. Scheer is active in this region with a strategic partner and now complements its offer with its own branch office. Due to the promising general conditions, the company decided to open a branch office in emerging Croatia and founded 'Scheer Adriatic' there. 

The Croatian market proved to be particularly interesting, because with many well-trained specialists with SAP experience, it offers enormous opportunities and great potential. With Sanja Meles, Scheer was also able to gain an experienced Managing Director with a broad network in the SAP environment, who bundles the necessary know-how as well as the right contacts to successfully drive forward the internationalization of the company and its placement on the Croatian market. 

In the future, Scheer will support numerous customer projects from the newly established branch office in Zagreb. In the first year, the company plans to create 50 new jobs in the areas of consulting and development and sees potential to double the number of employees in the coming years. Success is already evident: Scheer won the first major SAP S/4HANA project in the region with a multinational consumer goods manufacturer. 

The new Scheer Adriatic Managing Director, Sanja Meles, and CEO of Scheer Group, Mario Baldi, are already looking forward to the future cooperation. "We will benefit from the mutual exchange of know-how and Scheer Group will be able to offer the best service to its customers both globally and regionally. I am happy about this recognition of the Croatian potential and I am proud to be part of the Scheer family", Meles says enthusiastically. And Baldi adds: "We see considerable potential for our services in the Southeast European region. With our new location in Croatia, we are taking a decisive step closer to internationalization and the targeted growth of the company. We continue to look for future markets in Southeastern Europe."
