Have gold and silver found a bottom

Von Swiss Resource Capital AG

Gold has currently lost value, as has silver. Investors are asking themselves what will happen next.

Thumb

Things are not looking bad for gold in terms of demand from Asia. Gold deliveries to China and India increased in July. Even to the UK, deliveries increased, although the ETFs listed there recorded outflows. U.S. gold appetite, on the other hand, was rather low. With the U.S. dollar showing strength and yields rising, the price of gold went down. In silver, the price first went up sharply, but from a chart perspective, the first resistance at just under 21 U.S. dollars proved to be an obstacle. Perhaps the breakout above this mark succeeds the silver next time. Even though the Fed has now raised interest rates four times, the new rate will not be nearly enough to lift real interest rates back into positive territory. And inflation in the U.S., currently at 8.5 percent, is also still a long way from the 2.5 percent key rate.

Currencies will therefore continue to lose purchasing power. Only gold is a stable factor and can maintain the value of savings. Therefore, gold and silver should remain a sensible investment for investors. As long as the troy ounce of gold is quoted below 1,800 U.S. dollars, Asians will probably continue to buy gold, because a favorable entry point is tempting. Especially when there are phases of weakness in the U.S. dollar, which have a supportive effect on the gold price and make the safe investment vehicle gold even more attractive. In addition to gold in physical form, an investment in well-positioned gold companies is of course also a fine thing in times of uncertainty and crisis. For example, there is Karora Resources or OceanaGold.

Karora Resources - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrelPMuItfk - owns the Beta Hunt property and a gold processing plant in Western Australia.

OceanaGold - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMJNmJKQX4M - is already producing successfully. The projects are located in the Philippines, New Zealand and the USA.
