Senior Strategic Account Executive:

You are very experienced salesperson, highly motivated, results-oriented, comfortable working in a young international company with high growth ambitions. The Senior Strategic Account Executive’s main role is to hunt top clients and nurture those key relationships over time. You become a strategic partner and advisor to the client, discovering new opportunities to work together for mutual benefit. You work on our biggest/ most important clients to build long-term, strategic partnerships to deliver significant value over time.

With Learnship, you will be part of a success story in defining a new area of the learning and development industry for business language and intercultural training for top global corporations in EMEA. You will be working as a part of successful international teams of Account Executives, Senior Account Executives, Customer Success Managers and Marketers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• You have a proven hunting track record with strong pipeline management skills; from prospecting new clients to closing deals.
• You are a highly experienced sales professional with 7+ years of work experience that understands account’s strategy, market position, budget, and goals, to develop better offers that deliver greater value to both the client and the business.
• You develop a strategic perspective that goes beyond short-term gains. Understand the bigger business issues for the client and help clients to manage their business.
• You are comfortable in addressing C-level executives as well as coordinating operations managers on different levels.
• You have a big interest to develop in EdTech and SaaS.
• English (at least C1) is a must and a second language (e.g. German) is a plus.
• A strong passion for languages and culture is necessary.
• Client relationships / networks in the learning and development business is a strong plus.
• Success in working with large transactions and lengthy sales cycles in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and create new opportunities in your territory in collaboration with our international sales organization worldwide.
• Manage and hold overall responsibility for a portfolio of top global and national accounts.
• Negotiate terms and conditions that are beneficial for both parties ensuring clients high satisfaction and commercial benefit the company. Manage large RfPs/ tenders.
• Understand client’s business to curate custom offerings that creates more value for clients and supports selling more effectively and retaining long-term relationships.
• Identify customer requirements, possible implementation solutions as well as consultancy in line with the Learnship product portfolio.
• Analyse business trends, pipeline status and forecasts and provide full visibility of business potential through the CRM reporting tool.
• Meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities.
• Develop and document an account strategy incl. execution plan to develop jointed business.
