Cloud DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a highly motivated, responsible, and passionate Cloud DevOps Engineer with great interpersonal skills to join our Advanced Technology Development team. Your Working place will be at exocad in Darmstadt, but you will report to Align colleagues e. g. in Switzerland or Russia.

In this role, you will...

• Create and improve our CI/CD pipelines and tools to accelerate and optimize our software engineering processes while we move from research code towards production
• be working close with the Advanced Technology Development team in Switzerland, Germany and Moscow and act as a link between frontend and backend processing services and infrastructure
• Participating in environment management and operations activities
• Developing container and cloud-based infrastructure

The personal requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience with DevOps
• Proven hands-on experience in DevOps processes automation on cloud environments
• Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle, experience in building CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with automating application deployment and managing Windows and Linux based applications
• Experience with clouds: AWS, Azure
• Experience with scripting in Python, Bash
• Experience with Terraform
• Experience with Git
• Experience with continuous integration tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, TeamCity
• Excellent communication skills
• Results-driven with strong commitment

Nice to have:

• Experience with Jenkins development (Pipeline development, declarative and scripts)
• Experience with Elastic, Grafana, Logstash, and Kibana
• Experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible
• Experience with containers: Docker, K8s
