To strengthen our Align/exocad Advanced Technology Development Team in Darmstadt we are looking for you as a
Senior Frontend Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced JavaScript developer to join our R&D team. Technically it contains frontend parts with a lot of WebGL and backend with application logic and computational modules. The interactions between these parts are rich and very intensive. Responsive UI is our apparent goal. Computation algorithms are blended between frontend and backend parts and cover clinical aspects of the orthodontic treatment.

In this role, you will...

• Take part in applications GUI development (including its UI and 3D elements)
• Work as a team with backend developers and other front-end developers (partially remoted) to provide full end-to-end solutions
• Collaborate with Business Analysis and UI/UX teams to help them to figure our corner case scenarios and provide the best customer experience
• Interact with SQA team to ensure high quality of the software delivered

In this role, you’ll need... 

• To have 5+ years of relevant experience as Frontend Developer (m/f/d)
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript & React technology stack
• To be experienced in automated tests
• Mathematical and algorithmic background, knowledge of 3D graphics and WebGL are good pluses
• To have practical communication skills, ability to communicate concepts and ideas
• Excellent verbal and written English
