Solar Projects GmbH provides an extensive range of services, from greenfield development and turnkey construction to financing options and the operation of ground-mounted or floating solar parks and hybrid plants. Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Freiburg, Munich, Berlin, Mainz or Leipzig and are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer Solar/PV (m/f/d) for utility scale projects.

What You Will Do

• You will be responsible for planning utility scale solar projects in the high megawatt range (Fixed, Tracker, Floating & AgriPV)
• You will ensure that all relevant interfaces (e.g. Grid Engineers, R&D Engineers, Battery Storage Engineers, Project Managers, etc.) cooperate efficiently regarding technical topics in the project team
• You will design project layouts and run cable calculations
• You will create electric diagrams for medium and low voltage
• You will make technical project assessments and create due diligence reports
• You will design and execute yield simulations
• You will be the intermediary between project management and site supervision
• You will be responsible for compliance with technical standards, regulations and norms
• You will be responsible for the technical documentation

What You Bring

• You are an engineer or technician in the field of electrical engineering or in a comparable field
• You have at least five years of relevant practical experience and comprehensive knowledge in planning large scale photovoltaic systems
• You are fluent in English; fluency in German and other languages would be a plus
• You are proficient in tools like AutoCAD, PVcase and PVSyst
• You are highly motivated to change the renewable energy market by planning innovative ground-mounted, floating and agricultural PV-plants
