Your Tasks

• Development and driving of large scale energy solutions for industrial customers by asset based energy contracting (design, build, finance and operate)
• Acceleration of E.ON business activities for industrial energy generation with focus on Germany and Benelux
• Driving EEP development for Decarbonsation, Decentralisation, Digitalisation and Diversification by incorporating our digital enhanced USP E.ON IQ Energy solution - the smart power plant
• Responsibility for all project management related tasks from origination, offering until signing of all project related contracts of
• Identification of opportunities, approach of new customers and maintaining a successful customer relationship
• Contract negotiations for all relevant project contracts
• Preparation of offers and offer presentations to customers
• Preparation and coordination of investment decisions
• Assessment of project opportunities, evaluation of technical and commercial viability
• Project lead for multi-disciplinary international teams (technical, commercial, legal, digital).
• Contributing to continuous business development and supporting strategic growth initiatives of E.ON Energy Projects through new innovative solutions, such as iQ CHP, CO2 reduction solutions, carbon capture, biofuels etc.

Your Profile

• Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, economics, energy with a strong technical background, MBA would be beneficial
• Profound experience in the field of business and/or project development, ideally of industrial energy solutions
• Ability to combine technical with commercial and legal aspects of projects, ability to manage internal and external interfaces of a project
• Understanding energy system conceptual design, including regulatory & energy economic aspects (knowledge of thermodynamic modelling software would be beneficial)
• Experience on renewables, PPAs and energy intensive industry de-carbonization is beneficial
• Ability to connect technical with commercial and legal aspects of the projects, ability to manage the internal and external interfaces of a project
• Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to work independently, willingness to take initiative, and high level of commitment
• Highly communication & interpersonal skills to establish effective relationship with customers and stakeholders
• Enjoy working in an international environment
• Language skills: German, English, Dutch
