Alternatively, you have a comparable qualification You have several years of professional experience in the field of system architecture and have expert knowledge in enterprise IT infrastructures (interfaces, services, servers, best practices) Ideally, you have experience in the creation of web applications (backend/frontend) based on semantic or ontological databases In addition, RestAPI and ETL are not foreign terms for you in the use of data interfaces and data consolidation of various IT systems Due to your high affinity with the methods and tools of development, you can work successfully in an agile environment You identify weak points and risks, solve problems with adequate consideration of the software and hardware by developing appropriate solution proposals and can also convince customers, developers and users of your concepts and our systems To navigate your international environment, you will be characterized by strong communication skills in English and fluent German You have the ability to recognize, abstract and simplify dependencies, are a team player and enjoy working in virtual and global teams Your responsibilities In your new position as Solution Architect (f/m/d), you will play a key role in the development of our new enterprise engineering architectures in order to further advance the digital transformation of our solutions and open up new digital business models As a team member in our Future Engineering project, you will drive the digitization of our entire value chain In order to be able to implement this efficiently, you will work in a software development team in an agile project environment You take our tool landscape to the next level through your conceptual consulting of all departments. You will integrate cloud and database technology and other possible alternatives into the next generation environment In addition, you will be responsible for the technical specification and development of complex system architectures in our Engineering Centers, taking into account the company specifications based on the requirements, through the feasibility analysis to the test and operational use. Furthermore, you will identify and evaluate risks and opportunities, including IT security, data protection and compliance, describe non-functional requirements and interfaces, and check the infrastructure and system.
