Climate change is forcing us to save energy and ensure the longevity of our assets (transformers, switching cabinets, etc.). At the MindSphere Application Center for Internet of Energy (#MAC4IoE), we work together with our customers from the energy sector (utilities & grid operators, industrial companies, critical infrastructures) to find new solutions for these challenges using Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and data analytics approaches. For this, we are looking for bright minds who convert theory into practice and actively think along. In short: people who want to turn questions into new exclamation marks! You will support our co-creation team on customer projects to identify novel data-driven features for our products and quantify their value. You are leveraging customer data, to identify features, that help our customers to keep the energy grid stable, make industrial processes more efficient and ease usage of renewable energy. You are researching latest market trends regarding AI/Analytics towards energy efficiency and energy grid stability. There, you focus on customer value and compare trends to our products. Depending on your profile and interests, there are other areas in which you can actively support our team. Always with the mission to make the benefits of IoT and Data Analytics tangible and concrete. We don’t need superheroes, just super minds. You are studying energy or electrical engineering, business informatics, digital business/product management or related studies. You’re excited about the potential of the digitalization of business processes and new technologies (IoT, Analytics/AI). You have already analyzed data with Python, and you understand how to transform data into relevant insights. You are proficient in handling MS-Office tools, especially MS PowerPoint. Further programming and software knowledge is desirable. It is easy for you to familiarize yourself with complex (electrical or IT-) technical contexts, to explain them in a comprehensible way and to prepare them in a structured manner. You will fit particularly well into our team if you work independently, are a team player and show initiative. You enjoy dealing with colleagues and customers from all over the world. You are fluent in English and conversational or higher in German. Further language skills are a plus.
