Purchaser Spot Buy Front Desk - SAP Ariba (m/f/d)

What we are looking for

• Be an important interface and expert to the requesters and represent the Procurement organization as part of the Spot Buy Desk within Uniper
• Support and train requesters and colleagues in purchasing via phone (usage of Automatic call distribution – ACD), mail (Front Desk Mailbox) and MS Teams regarding purchasing processes:
  • Correct use of purchasing channels
  • Right contact person in the purchasing organization particular in ARIBA and SAP
  • Ensuring compliance awareness and requirements in the purchasing processes
  • Providing guidance in case of technical problems
  • Increasing usability of ARIBA
  • Driving further development of Process Automization and digitalization
  • Being a central contact in Procurement and working in strong collaboration with the IT Walk-in-Center
• Prioritise purchase requests (PR)  in an efficient manner (especially at peak times)
• Update and maintain information content in the internal communication tool (e.g. ARIBA/SAP/intranet PING)
• Check and assure quality of the released purchase requisitions
• Implementation of contracts, catalogues and E-Forms in ARIBA in collaboration with category teams
• Being the driver for further development of ARIBA

Who we are seeking

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, economics or equivalent professional qualification
• Ideally several years of experience in purchasing with contact to the requester
• Solid experience in a purchasing organization, deep understanding of its processes, policies  as well as channels/instruments and warehouse/logistics
• Distinctive SAP MM and ARIBA know-how with regard to manual and highly automated processes
• Very good communication skills and experience in training preparation and implementation
• Strong team-player
• Very good German and English language skills
