Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Operator to join our team in Peine, Germany.

In this role you will be responsible to work in the field on wireline jobs (both open hole and cased hole operations). You will also need to assist with preparation and post job maintenance of tools and equipment, lead and train less experienced Operators.

Responsibilities and duties: 

  • Rig up and rig down wireline equipment.
  • Assist wireline crew during operations. 
  • Make up tool string with minimum supervision. 
  • Maintain and wireline equipment.
  • Prepare and do maintenance on pressure control equipment.
  • Maintain wireline equipment with little supervision. 
  • Drive company vehicle to location when required (trailer and truck license)  
  • Train Operator I, II, and III's. 
  • Maintain neat housekeeping. 
  • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.


Qualifications

  • Previous working experience as a Field Operator (preferred within the Oil & Gas industry).
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (truck and trailer, C1/C) or the ability to obtain one. 
  • Valid ADR certificate – preferred but not mandatory.
  • Available to work on 12 hours shifts (flexible working schedule, long/irregular hours).
  • High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • Good communication skills in German or English.
