We are looking for you for our Operational Support Team at Uniper Global Commodities SE in Düsseldorf !The CCO Power department 'Operational Support' has a strong energy economic footprint and among others is responsible for the driving key growth initiative within Power Commodity in the CCO area of Uniper Global Commodities. Our team is accountable to secure effective, compliant and successful Contract Management and coordinates all commercial business reporting and compliance related processes thus is directly contributing to the commercial success of the Power teams.We are looking for a new team member as 'Power Expert' who has sound energy economics knowledge, brings experience and knowledge in driving and implementing change and preferably rounds up the profile with excellent communication skills on different management levels. What we are looking for

• Secure effective, compliant and commercially successful Contract Management for all Power contracts with Renewable Assets, Transmission System Operators or Third Parties.

• Plan, coordinate and drive ancillary service related prequalification processes of our conventional power plants as well as understand and implement prequalification requirements for renewable assets.

• Support and facilitate commercial business reporting and budgeting processes such as the company-wide Mid-Term Planning.

• Facilitate and support Power risk and compliance related procedures, e.g. Power Commercial Mandates, Internal Control Systems and Audits in close cooperation with our internal stakeholders.

• Transparently align with our stakeholders to allow our team to coordinate, prioritize and communicate the growth initiatives.

Who we are seeking

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent professional qualification with ideally 1 to 5 years of professional experience in energy economics or commercial or project management.
• Work experience in the energy economics, preferably in experience in commodity trading, dispatch, optimization or sales is advantageous.
• Experience in implementing business development ideas into operations is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills applied in an international environment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
• High degree of analytical skills, personal responsibility and self-motivation.
• Fluent in English is essential. Other EU (e.g. German) language would be appreciated.
