Electrical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Full-time, Milan, Italy

Purpose/ Profile Summary:

Candidate shall develop the electrical engineering drawings & calculations for DC, AC, LV, HV, EHV system of PV renewable plants and provide definite level projects according to CEI 0-2

Your works will include:

Performs following engineering functions including but not limited to

• Prepare in-house drawings and technical specifications for electrical works (BOM, BOQ, RFP)
• Design of all electrical systems for medium and large scale PV systems (DC, AC, LV, HV, communication systems/SCADA, earthing and lightening protection)
• Preparation of design packages for various project phases such as conceptualization, planning, tendering and execution.
• Preparation of power flow scheme and SLD
• Review of vendor designs and drawings & guide for optimization
• Technical due-diligence
• Engineering innovations and application
• Maintaining project engineering records

Your Profile:

• Sound in design knowledge in areas of solar plant layouts, SLD, Calculation, Power Flow & Transmission, System protection, & general electrical requirements of small and large scale solar power plants
• Developing design documents using electrical software and design reports.
• Knowledge of electrical components/system design, identification of right specification according to the project specification as per the standards.
• In depth knowledge in cables, transformer, switchgear, relay, earthing and protection system
• Software skills like AutoCAD (mandatory), ETAP, MS office.

Qualification and Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Italian Institute of repute.
• Legal qualification to provide definite project according to Italian regulatory             
• Min 3 years of relevant industry experience in solar plant design.
• Member of the “Ordine degli  Ingegneri”
