What we are looking for

• Contribute to Short-Term Trading & Dispatch’s portfolio extension and actively shape the integration of new assets and technologies  
• Support the build-up of Uniper’s Renewables PPA Portfolio business as pivotal commercial pillar of Uniper’s sustainability efforts and product offerings
• Advise on how to create robust target portfolios when onboarding new contracts/assets with particular focus on flexibility aspects as well as pay-as-produced PPAs
• Establish processes for pricing and forecasting renewable PPA and align the strategies with Short-term Trading 
• Work with different functions within Short-term Trading & Dispatch and Uniper, e.g. Global Origination, Sales, Power, CODIST, Quantitative Methods and Risk to leverage Uniper’s skillset to develop a strong PPA platform
• Drive the establishment of a data strategy for Short-term Trading & Dispatch to enable this transformation

Who we are seeking

• Degree in a STEM discipline (science, technology, engineering, math), in finance/economics, or in a related field, preferably with a focus on quantitative analysis or data science
• Experience in trading, optimization or power portfolio management with P&L responsibility – experience in Renewables PPAs is an advantage
• Excellent commercial awareness coupled with strong entrepreneurial thinking 
• Strong analytical mindset to understand business processes and deal risk profiles
• Good understanding of quantitative concepts to apply them for pricing and forecasting, plus the ability to work effectively with large data. Experience in a scripting language.
• Data-driven mindset and track record in applying data concepts in business setting.
• Good communication skills and proven ability to interface and build strong relationships to other teams and stakeholders
• Fluency in English and German is essential
