We are looking for a Head of Vendor and Partner Management (f/m/d)  to join our E.ON Digital Technology GmbH team.

Your Responsibilities

• You lead an international team (approx. 20 FTE) that manages the vendor portfolio and budget (€400 million yearly)
• You establish successful partner relationships with different shoring concepts
• You optimize strategic sourcing with a balance between quality and cost
• You align business requirements and procurement to ultimately support and contribute to E.ONs digitalization 
• You align with stakeholder on strategies, priorities and provide governance guidelines
• You facilitate strategic level discussions with vendors of choice
• You proactively maintain a vendor portfolio and facilitate best-practices as well as benchmarking for vendor management
• You manage external IT spend and all vendor related costs
• You define and track output-based KPIs with financial impact
• You facilitate the process of assessing vendor performance (SLAs, milestones, risks) and manage contract drafting and stipulations
• You support vendor service delivery and cooperation with quick adaption to market changes
• You provide operational feedback to vendors at regular check-ins
• You establish a process to re-visit vendor portfolio framework periodically

Your Profile

• Multiple years of leadership experience in IT/Digital as well as multiple roles in different business contexts, preferably in different organizations
• Love for technology and high commitment to digitalization combined with an entrepreneurial spirit, always seeking for new opportunities to adding value through technology
• Professional experience in IT/Digital Technologies, Portfolio and Service Management processes, according to ITIL and SIAM frameworks
• Comprehensive experience in developing and executing strategies, plans and creating change programs
• Proven track record in customer-facing roles and senior business stakeholder management
• Experience in developing and managing Infrastructure Service in designing, transforming, operating and optimizing large, international IT environments
• Proven experience of creating strategies and leading major programs
• Skillset and experience in negotiating and managing multi-million contracts
• Experience of leading international teams across various countries and locations
• Proven ability to effectively network with stakeholders, customers, colleagues and suppliers
• Ability to inspire and build strong relationships with our Businesses that are based on trust, commitment, confidence and respect
• Business focused attitude with the ability to understand, articulate and negotiate trade-offs and changing priorities
• Strong market orientation and understanding of E.ON’s core businesses
• Ability to collaborate actively across cultural and organizational boundaries
• Modern leadership style; creating an atmosphere for personal growth, empowerment, high performance, and team work
• Business fluent in English, German is beneficial
