We are looking for a Solution Architect / Consultant (f/m/d) to join our E.ON Energy Markets GmbH team.
You will be part of the energy trading and risk management solutions team within the E.ON Energy Markets department. We are an international and diverse team providing digital solutions to our energy trading business in several European countries (Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, UK, Italy, and Czech Republic). In our team we are constantly learning and growing, we have high ambitions to deliver best service quality leveraging from cutting edge technologies.
Responsibilities
You are part of a multinational team in an international business locating in 7 European countries
You support technical analysis and implementation of energy trading and risk management solutions in an agile environment
You analyse, concept, and digitize processes
You support projects in the implementation, testing as well as go-live phase
You are responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing software issues
You update, track and resolve technical issues
Qualifications
Master’s degree in physics, mathematics, economics, finance, computer science, software engineering or similar
Demonstrated Python programming skills in data analytics and processing use cases (Object oriented programming in C# or Java) as well as good knowledge of SQL language
Mathematical skills and a good understanding of technology
Excellent communication skills, a high level of teamwork and great enthusiasm
Excellent documentation skills
Leveraging strong analytical abilities and creative problem solving
Experience in cloud computing knowledge, would be a big advantage
Willingness for permanent further development and development of new topics
Very good knowledge of German and English
Preferred Qualifications
Financial markets knowledge, about trading, risk management (market risk or credit risk KPIs) or back office (e.g., settlement and invoicing)
MS Azure solution development and design
Web development and JavaScript knowledge
Experience with Timeseries data
