We are looking for an Supply Chain Expert - Smart Analytics/Costing (f/m/d) to join our E.ON SE team. 

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and utilize best-practice approaches, methods & tools and build up core capabilities within the Supply Chain organization in Smart Analytics / Cost Analysis
• Screen E.ON’s spend cube to identify procurement potentials (savings) using Smart Analytics and Cost Analysis
• Ensure optimum execution of Smart Analytics and Cost Engineering activities as basis for fact based decision making, e.g. support tenders to maximize saving potentials
• Expert and change agent in Supply Chain / Procurement processes, eager to become part of E.ON’s journey towards Procurement best-practice in the utility industry.
• Support teams consisting of E.ON Supply Chain, business representatives and technical experts to interpret results from Smart Analytics or Cost Engineering and drive efficiency improvements resulting thereof.
• Coach Supply Chain organization regarding potential application cases for Smart Analytics and Cost Analysis
• Develop and foster cross-functional collaboration to implement identified cost savings and efficiency potentials through continuous improvement

Your Profile

• Relevant academic degree (Master or equivalent) or similar education
• Proven expert knowledge of statistics and Smart Analytics methods (Data mining, Predictive Analytics) & tools (SAS, Tableau, Qlik, Python, etc.)  and/or
  track record of advanced cost analysis / value calculations across different industries, ideally including suppliers to the utility industry
• Experience in larger international corporations, e.g. utilities and Supply Chain department is  an asset
• Highly developed analytical and communication skills, combined with a structured work style and a pragmatic hands-on approach
• Comfortable with stakeholder interaction and communication on executive level
• Comfortable with conflicts and ability to challenge “conventional” thinking, consider other views and convince with facts
• Ability to promote analytical topics and take a proactive approach to overcome resistance
• Experience and ability to work in a fast changing matrix environment and in an international team.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Esp. VBA) programs and further relevant tools
• Willingness to travel and temporary work at E.ONs (inter-)national units
• Fluency in English is a pre-requisite; knowledge of the German language an advantage
