Electrical project engineer for component design in power plant applications (f/m/d)

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU Your profile Master’s degree in electric engineering with a focus on power systems and/or renewable energy systems 3-5 years professional experience in project execution of power plants or battery storage systems Knowledge on the international and national electrical standards and codes Innovative and creative problem-solving skills Analytical mindset and systematic work approach Good interpersonal and communication skills and team player who takes ownership and is result oriented Fluency in English, German is a must Profound knowledge in the use of MS-Office Your responsibilities Configurate electrical plant layout incl. design optimization Design, calculation and specifications of electrical power plant components like batteries, chargers, current transformers, low voltage power transformers, Low voltage switch gear, excitation system and electrical generator protection Execute resulting order processes including expediting of these components Create/ define standards for different plant configurations Clarification of technical questions with international customer and EPCs Supporting sites during installation and commissioning LET’S TALK ABOUT US \'Let’s make tomorrow different today\' is our genuine commitment at Siemens Energy to all customers and employees on the way to a sustainable future.
