Software Architect (f/m/d)

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU Your profile University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (a background in mathematics or physics is a plus) Least 3 years of experience as a software architect or similar as well as in working with internationally distributed agile teams. Experiences with the latest software development technologies and cloud-based architectures Knowledge in the area of object-oriented analysis, design and coding as well as very good knowledge in C++, C#, Python You should be familiar with CI/CD Social competence, the ability to work in international teams, high communication skills are required You have an understanding to “translate” “business/technical terminology” to “IT terminology” It would be a benefit, if you already have experience or know-how in power plant technology and processes You take strong initiatives, are highly result oriented as well, have a good understanding of agile methodologies Fluent English and German language (spoken and written) are required Your responsibilities In your new role as an IT Software Architect, you introduce new software technologies, architectures and methods supporting the decarbonization of tomorrows energy systems You work closely together with an agile and international team of experts and developers You consult and challenge the development team regarding software architecture, general software development topics and processes Further, you actively support requirements engineering and manage a systematic architecture development Besides, you evaluate new software (e.g. by prototyping), support roll outs of new tools and updates of existing legacy solutions You perform design and code reviews as well as analyze existing software regarding the continuous improvement process In a close collaboration with the development team and technical experts you guide both sides to find the best solution LET’S TALK ABOUT US \'Let’s make tomorrow different today\' is our genuine commitment at Siemens Energy to all customers and employees on the way to a sustainable future.
