Contract Manager (f/m/d) Project Execution/ Delay and Quantum Expert

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU Your profile Academic graduation in technical field, business administration and law or quantity surveying background with appropriate academic or professional qualifications Primary experience in contract analyzing, drafting and / or legal experience, alternatively legal or commercial academic and professional background with related experiences Familiar with contract terms and conditions of construction contracts Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively within project teams, site and legal teams Ability to negotiate fluent in the German and English Willingness to join and enrich our Delay & Quantum Expert team Working knowledge in valuation (engineering quantification, bills of quantities, unit rates, re-measurement) is welcome Willingness to work within internationally staffed teams and with international contractual partners Ability to travel nationally / internationally Your responsibilities Providing advice and support to project management and site management in the execution of customer contracts, consortium agreements and sub-contracts to protect Siemens Energy’s rights and entitlements Supporting project and site management in contractual and commercial matters e.g., supporting the change order processes and reviewing and drafting of non-legal correspondence Identifying all relevant technical, commercial, and contractual aspects for supporting the set-up of project-specific claim strategies Contribute to pursuing and defending in- and outgoing claims especially by collection of and advising on relevant project records, documentation, and all relevant facts Supporting settlement negotiations with the contract partners Providing support to the legal team by substantiating the relevant facts (cause and effect) necessary to demonstrate entitlement to quantum and/or to additional time respectively to establishing the required factual defenses in view of arbitration or alternative dispute resolution proceedings Supporting the supervision/ performance of quantum analyses in view of establishing causation for relevant events impacting the scope of works, e.g., by assessing all relevant commercial and contractual project documentation Supporting the supervision/ performance delay analyses in view of establishing causation for relevant events affecting the project time schedules and/or the scope of works LET’S TALK ABOUT US \'Let’s make tomorrow different today\' is our genuine commitment at Siemens Energy to all customers and employees on the way to a sustainable, CO2 neutral future.
