We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer (f/m/d) to join our E.ON Digital Technology GmbH team. 

Your tasks

• As part of our Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), you will share responsibility for protecting the E.ON Group against attacks and other damaging events in its information systems
• You are responsible for Cyber Defense (IT, IoT and a little bit of OT) of E.ON - from technical root cause analysis, to communication till tracking and coordination
• You take part in the log source life cycle management; managing the initial contact for our customer, defining the scope and being a successful technical advisor 
• You will be responsible to identify and develope smart solutions to improve task and daily workflows for the team
• You will act as a competent counterpart for security issues incl. remediation, formatting and issue management

Your profil

• Several years of professional experience in the realm of cyber security
• Strong expertise with Public Clouds like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
• Passion for Software and Script development
• Practical experience in Windows / Unix Server configuration; including Rsyslog, WinRM
• Know-how in software development / scripting; preferably with Python
• Capable of managing complex-tasks and well-developed project management skills
• Experience working with tools like Splunk and XSOAR are beneficial
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly describe even complex issues
• Fluent English language skills are essential, German language skills are advantageous
