Power Project Manager (f/m/d) fixed term 2 years

For our Business Applications & Project Team at Uniper Global Commodities SE in Düsseldorf we are looking for you !The CCO Power department 'Power Operations' has a strong energy economic footprint and among others is responsible for the delivery and project management large Change and IT projects in the CCO Power business area. In addition, the team secures expert maintenance and development of critical IT infrastructure and thus has direct contribution to the commercial success of the Power teams.We're looking for a 'Power Project Manager' who brings experience and knowledge in energy economics preferably in commodity trading, dispatch operations, portfolio optimization while at the same time has what it takes to manage multiple complex IT & Change projects to completion.For example you may lead and drive Power Change & IT projects such the system replacement of the Netherland Scada System and/or the Front-to-end business process implementation of Renewable Physical Management through every stage of the project life cycle, from planning to delivery, alongside our internal IT and Business partners, external vendors, and other stakeholders. What we are looking for

• Manage project planning sessions to set project goals and objectives, set timelines, define tasks, and outline resources necessary to successfully complete the project
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Monitor and report the progress of projects, including addressing issues that may arise and ensuring project deliverables are completed on time
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks by identifying potential constraints based on activities and timeframes, and define solutions to manage any constraints
• Manage the relationship with the customer and all stakeholders
• Conduct project reviews, including creating detailed reports for executive staff and identifying areas for future improvement

Who we are seeking

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent professional qualification with ideally 1 to 3 years of professional experience in energy industry
• Work experience in the energy economics, preferably in commodity trading, dispatch operations, portfolio optimization
• Operational track record in project management through all phases of a project life cycle in the business area of commodity trading, power supply or dispatch; Certification in project management is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills applied in an international environment
• Advanced management and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Fluent in English is essential. Other EU (e.g. German) language would be appreciate
