To support the continuous growth of Valeo Siemens eAutomotive in the R&D department at the earliest opportunity we are looking for a Hardware in the Loop (HiL) Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

Your new task - thrilling and future-oriented

• You are responsible for conception, development, validation and post-layout SI/PI simulation of embedded Hardware in the Loop (HIL) hardware in the automotive environment (FPGA/µC); preferably in Altium Designer tool chain
• You drive technical decisions together with the team
• You support the procurement of HW components, such as break-out boards, failure injection units or HW components
• You take part on real-time simulation of electrical drive systems and components such as electric motors, DC/DC converters and AC/DC battery chargers in FPGA-based HIL systems
• You ensure the management of HIL HW components throughout the entire product life cycle
• You prepare root-cause analysis to identify issues raised by testing or customer returns
• You coordinate competence-relevant development processes with internal and external partners; furthermore, you make recommendations for product/process corrections and improvements
• One of your main tasks is documentation and testing as well as support of SW development and test teams in HIL-specific HW issues
• Your tasks also include the commissioning of HiL systems and support in troubleshooting together with software and hardware developers
