What you´ll do


  • Close collaboration with the Strategic and the Field Sales Account team to create effective key account merchandise assortments that earn sales and showcase the brand

  • Responsible for purchasing planning, creation of purchasing budgets and product range for defined online, brick and mortar accounts

  • Planning of assortment modules and distribution of these for each market segment (outdoor specialists, sports generalists, lifestyle, bags, hunting)

  • Determination of the purchase quantity for product groups and product level and transmission of this to the global Demand Planning Team

  • OTB management and forecasting to determine the optimal planning of demand and goods availability

  • Inform price-setting through qualitative and quantitative market data and research to meet margin goals and are also viable and relevant to the retail market

  • Monitoring competitors and market trends with seasonal market reports based on research data, competitor marketing pushes, and feedback from wholesale

  • Conducting web analytics to improve product ranking and sorting

  • Development, coordination and introduction of merchandise services and tools for B2B partners to improve performance

  • Technical management of the allocator to ensure efficient goods allocation based on performance and OTB (initial allocations and ongoing replenishment)

  • Regular in-season management analyzes and proactive initiation of performance-enhancing measures in the allocation process

  • Monitoring and management of quantity reservations, order backlog and if necessary, stock levels

  • Responsible for the transparency of the merchandise KPIs and data correctness

Who you are


  • Completed business administration (BA degree or similar) or comparable commercial education

  • Min. 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position, preferably in merchandise planning

  • Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel), must have a strong aptitude in Excel

  • Knowledge and experience with AX / BI systems

  • Very good knowledge of German and English

  • Very good analytical skills

  • Good presentation skills

  • Strong social skills in a multicultural environment

  • Must be a Team player and have a “can do mentality”.
