New Product Introduction Engineer (f/m/d) Manufacturing - eMobility

Within the newly formed eMobility business, we are seeking for a qualified candidate for the role as New Product Introduction Engineer. What part will you play? In your new role you will be responsible for coordinating across internal and external manufacturing facilities including a multi-tier supplier base, to ensure proper delivery of products for customers. And you will report directly to the head of global manufacturing within global SCM of eMobility. You manage the allocated project through structured gated process from concept/quotation to production-handover. You plan, coordinate, implement and finalize projects according to specifications and deadlines, while maintaining the project performance indices i.e., Quality, Cost & Delivery Technical decisions/guidance and flow down of projects requirements to Suppliers is part of your daily business. These include (but not limited to): tool and fixture manufacturing designs, machining requirements, drawings, CAD models, Contract/Condition of Supply requirements. You support of production line tooling and equipment to support manufacturing processes. You lead team meetings to facilitate communication between organizations and functions as required meeting program timing objectives. You carry out FMEA based process validation for new/existing manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements. The preparation of Control documents/work instructions and providing technical support to production departments when necessary complete your tasks Your qualifications - well-founded and adequate You have a master´s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Mechatronics or Manufacturing. You have long-term management experience as a production manager as well you have experience in setting up and scaling a volume production/production line. You have expertise in lean production, continuous improvement, and productivity management. Furthermore, you have experience in working with electronics manufacturing entities, metal fabricators, and the ability to develop and drive programs/KPIs towards manufacturing performance and capabilities You have expertise in digitization tools for manufacturing and production plants. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as team building orientation You have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and with customers and suppliers.
