Software Developer – Digitalization of Business Processes (m/f/d)

The Data Analytics and Digitalization team is a cross-functional team that is at the forefront of digital transformation of the manual business processes within the growing and changing environment of IBV. The team is responsible for data integration and distribution in a secure way to help everyone work more efficiently. By providing the right toolset the team enables the company to focus on the “real work”. The goal of the team is to solve business problems for task and role-specific scenarios by building custom applications serving specific departmental requirements.  

Additionally, the team provides data analytic services to the Engineering and Operations & Maintenance team to evaluate the performance of the PV Power Plants. In this capacity, ad hoc analysis of the sensor data is performed on an as-need basis using Python programming language. 

Software Developer – Digitalization of Business Processes (m/f/d) Vollzeit, Berlin As a software developer, your tasks will include:

• Manage and lead strategic digitalization projects at ibv and manage the implied changes during implementation 

• Develop a holistic overview of existing software solutions and the future demands of IBV to advice on strategical decisions on digitalization of business processes. 
• Optimize business processes in the context of tech and transformation through compilation of user stories from different teams 
• Understand business processes of ibv’s departments to gather and document applicational requirements and user stories through collaboration with key users/ product owners 

• Agile management of digitalization project initiatives including decision making, sprint planning and task management 

• Development and operation and maintenance of business applications through the entire lifecycle with a focus on Microsoft Power Platform/ Dynamics 365 
• Technical and commercial support during licensing decisions to e.g. facilitate strategical choices for Microsoft Product 
• Learn and apply latest software development practices following agile principles and values 
• Coordinate with external consultants on software/ application development 

Your Profile:

• • Strong communication skills with the ability to extract relevant information from diverse business areas. 
  • Expertise in digitalization and change management (best practice on supporting a company’s digital journey) 
  • Experience in agile project management practices using management software like Azure DevOps 
  • Experience in development, architectural design, security and access roles concepts within the Microsoft Platform on solutions like: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Common Data Service, SharePoint Online. 
  • Technical experience for problem solving in the area of the following applications: Dynamics CRM, Power Platform, Java Script, Excel and database systems like Dataverse, MS Access or SQL. 
  • Analytical skills combined with an expertise on Data and Process Modelling as well as Data Visualization. 
  • Positive attitude and affinity to business topics and issues 
  • Languages: English (excellent command), other languages also welcome
